Trees – Emerald Ash Borer Beetle

We got hit with the Emerald Ash Borer Beetle and before we knew it, all (3) of our mature ash trees looked like they were dying.  We had a tree service come out and they are the ones who informed us.  They were shocked we hadn’t heard of this and told us the sad news that the trees were too far gone and needed to be removed.

As you can see the before pictures the trees are already dead 😦

We did some additional tree trimming since the crew was already there.  There was an odd-ball branch that covered the house, which I had them remove.  It completely opened up the front!

I know this isn’t the most exciting post, but if it can save a few trees in someone else’s yard, then it’s well worth the post!
